Graduation is a time of great joy and celebration for family and friends to share in the pride of your academic accomplishments. Georgia Northwestern Technical College is proud to have assisted you in achieving your educational goals. Congratulations!
The information obtained on this link will guide you through the graduation application process at GNTC as well as provide some general information on the commencement ceremonies, which are held twice a year at the end of spring and fall quarters.

How to Apply for Your Degree, Diploma or Certificate
An Application for Graduation must be completed and submitted to the Registrar no later than the end of the quarter prior to the quarter of the student’s anticipated graduation.
All students must have completed high school or received GED certification before graduating from a program of student at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. The student’s record will also be evaluated to determine if a minimum cumulative overall grade point average of 2.0 (C average) or higher has been earned. Prospective graduates must also meet a residency requirement of complete of at least 25% of coursework in a major at GNTC.
Guide for Graduates, Family Members and Guests
Tickets are required for guests. Graduates may participate in the ceremony if they respond to the Office of the Registrar by a designated date. Those graduates who respond by the designated date will be issued a set number of tickets for their guests.
GNTC Graduation to be Held on August 26, 2010
On August 26, 2010 Georgia Northwestern Technical College will hold a graduation ceremony at 7:00 p.m. at the Forum in Rome, Georgia. Those eligible to participate in the ceremony include students who graduated from Coosa Valley Technical College during Spring 2009 quarter and any student who graduated from Georgia Northwestern Technical College during Summer 2009, Fall 2009, Winter 2010, and Spring 2010 quarters who did not participate in the June 17th ceremony. Letters have been mailed to students who are eligible to attend. Students must return the postcard included in their letter by August 2nd to the Registrar's Office to participate.
