Cost of Attendance
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is a term defined by the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA) Section 472 and represents an estimate of the total amount of your educational expenses for the period of enrollment during the Award Year and is reflected on your financial aid award. The COA is based on whether or not you are a Georgia resident and if you are an Independent or Dependent student while you are attending GNTC. The COA initially assumes full-time enrollment during the fall, spring, and summer terms and includes tuition and fees, the average cost for books and supplies, room and board, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
Below are the average 2024-2025 COA amounts for students attending Georgia Northwestern Technical College
Note: These amounts are based on enrollment for 12 credit hours unless otherwise noted. If you are enrolled in 15 or fewer hours, your COA will be based on your enrollment hours.
